What it is

Music, close up. Always free.

Barefoot. started in early 2025 as small music sessions in a bedroom. A few friends playing for each other became a community of artists and listeners.

Everyone is welcome on stage and in the room. The only rule: take your shoes off and listen.

The story

From a bedroom to a room that was too full

By the third official session on 27 March 2025, so many people came that some had to be turned away. Barefoot. moved into larger venues to keep up, and stayed free.

The format

Three ways to be part of a night

Jams

Musicians meet, plug in and play together. Nothing is planned.

Open mics

Sign up, step up, play your songs for a room that came to listen.

Concerts

Invited artists play full sets, filmed and recorded properly.

Reach

A community, not just an audience

€0Entrance, always

Why free matters

Money should never be a barrier to music

Free entrance means the room is mixed: students, newcomers, regulars, first-time performers. That is what makes the nights feel the way they do, and it is what a partner supports.

The need

Bigger rooms cost real money

Venue

Larger rooms for larger crowds.

Sound

PA, mics and cables that do the music justice.

Filming

Recording sessions so artists keep the footage.

Promo

Posters and posts so new people can find the nights.

About €2 per guest keeps Barefoot. afloat. Every extra euro is reinvested in better events.
